Jennifer Lopez Sued By Former Driver -- You Let Benny Medina TREAT Me Like Crap - TMZ.com

Exclusive

0430_jennifer_lopez

Jennifer Lopez is being sued by her former personal driver ... who claims the singer's powerful manager Benny Medina HUMILIATED him ... and destroyed his career.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Hakob Manoukian claims he started driving for J.Lo and Marc Anthony in 2005 ... and over time they loved him so much, they convinced him to shut down his company and work exclusively as her personal Head of Security and Transportation.

Hakob claims J.Lo agreed to pay him more than $200,000 per year.

But according to the suit, things went south when Lopez began filming "What to Expect When You're Expecting" in 2011 ... that's when Hakob claims he was forced to spend time with Benny Medina.

Hakob -- who was born in Iraq -- says Medina hated his guts from the start ... claiming Benny would often rip him for the way he dressed, cussed him out in public and told him "he could not speak English well enough."

Hakob claims Medina eventually persuaded Lopez to demote him ... taking away his security responsibilities .... and relegating him to "merely be Lopez's Los Angeles driver."

Hakob says he was basically forced to resign -- and now he's suing J.Lo and Benny for unspecified damages.

Medina tells TMZ, Manoukian was a "disgruntled employee who chose to quit."

Our call to Lopez has not been returned.

Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias Announce Summer Tour - Billboard

Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez, two Latin pop stars undergoing impressive career revivals, have joined forces to co-headline a summer tour. The initial 16 dates of the North America trek were announced on Monday (Apr. 30), with more dates to be announced soon.

Earlier this month, Billboard.com reported that Iglesias and Lopez were "in discussions" to team up for a summer tour. Wisin Y Yandel will open for Lopez and Iglesias on the tour, which will be promoted by AEG Live and presented by State Farm; tickets will go on sale this Friday.

For Lopez, the tour will follow her second year as a judge on "American Idol" as well as the release of her seventh studio album, "Love?," in 2011. After scoring a monster hit alongside Pitbull with "On The Floor," Lopez teamed up with the rapper again on the recent single "Dance Again," which may or may not be included on a forthcoming greatest hits release.

Meanwhile, Iglesias was supposed to team up with Britney Spears for a tour last summer, but after the joint run failed to materialize, the singer brought Pitbull and Prince Royce on the road for a fall U.S. trek. The Euphoria Tour grossed more than $7.2 million in its final nine dates, including $1.3 million at New York's Madison Square Garden on Nov. 4, according to Billboard Boxscore.

"I'm so excited to be spending this summer out on the road. There is no better feeling than being out on stage in front of all my fans," says Iglesias in a statement.

Before the tour kicks off on July 14 in Montreal, Latin urban duo Wisin Y Yandel will release a new album, "Lideres," in June. Lopez will be a featured vocalist on the album, along with Chris Brown and T-Pain.

Here are the announced dates for the Lopez/Iglesias/Wisin Y Yandel tour:

Oh, baby, she's broke.

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, listing only $50,000 in assets against up to $1 million in debts, according to papers filed April 27.

The mom of 14, who recently stripped down in a magazine for $8,000, doesn't specify the names of her creditors but provided a clue in the list of those receiving the bankruptcy papers.

It includes Verizon Wireless, Sparkletts, Indy Mac Mortgage, Orkin Pest Control, the Department of Motor Vehicles, a Christian school, and the gas, electric and water utilities.

Explaining why she appeared semi-nude in the U.K.'s Closer magazine, Suleman, 37, who gave birth three years ago to octuplets to go with six other kids, told Anderson Cooper, "I have to do what I have to do to take care of my family."

Bobby Brown had no idea Whitney Houston was taking drugs before she died, he says.

The 48-year-old singer died in Beverly Hills in February from accidental drowning caused by cocaine use and heart failure and although her former husband Bobby has been widely blamed for introducing her to illegal substances, he claims he has been clean for seven years and was shocked to discover Whitney was still taking drugs.

He told 'Today's Matt Lauer: "It's just unexplainable .. how one could, you know, (say that I) got her addicted to drugs. I'm not the reason she's gone.

"I was hurt. I was hurt ... because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years, I felt that she was, you know, I didn't know she was struggling with it still. But at the same time, you know, listen, it's a hard fight. It's a hard fight to, you know, maintain sobriety that way."

It was claimed after Whitney's death that she and Bobby had been planning to remarry in Las Vegas.

Whitney had apparently wanted to reunite with her former husband of 14 years and the pair had decided on an intimate ceremony with their daughter Bobbi Kristina as the only witness.

Author Derrick Handspike -- who wrote Bobby's biography -- said: "Bobby told me, ' Whitney and me are getting married again.'

"They were planning a small wedding, probably in Las Vegas with just the two of them and their daughter Krissi. Bobby told me, 'The world may have thought we were history, but the reality is we were never really apart. We've never stopped loving each other.'

"After his dad's funeral in Boston in December he flew to Atlanta. For the next week Bobby holed up at Whitney's home, where they rekindled their romance and their intimate relationship. They slept together in Whitney's bedroom and talked about what kind of wedding they'd have."

Local ingredients and dedicated chefs help to make a Kelowna restaurant one of the best in the business.

For four years running, Waterfront  Restaurant and Wine Bar has been named the Best Restaurant in the Okanagan by Vancouver Magazine.

The awards were held Monday in Vancouver, where a panel of judges decided that upscale dining is back and crowd favourites still take home the gold in the major awards.

Waterfront Wines Chef, Owner and Sommelier Mark Filatow, says he is humbled and honoured by the award.

"One of the reasons the judges might have chosen us is we make a lot of things in house and we use local ingredients whenever we can."

Besides amazing cuisine Vancouver Magazine says Waterfront Wines has the best wine list by a 'country mile' and is a must stop on the Okanagan trail.

The restaurant was recently renovated to allow for more seating and a chef's table kitchenside.

Join Chef Filatow as he highlights a dish made with local ingredients and a Waterfront Wines must try.

Other Okanagan favourites that impressed the judges were RauDZ , placing second and Unpretentious Local in third. Honourable Mentions went to Bouchons Bistro and Theo's.

She didn’t think she was going home.

Despite finding herself in the bottom three yet again on Thursday night’s elimination show, Elise Testone was confident she was going to move on to the final five.

Unfortunately, the voice coach from Charlestown, SC didn’t make enough of a connection with voters - and therefore won’t be around to sing in the upcoming British Week show. Which is a shame, because Idol just lost their most unique singer/performer.

It can be argued that any of the remaining Top 5 contestants are unique in their own way, but Elise was able to convey a raw energy that many of the previous Idol winners have lacked. Elise was certainly a favourite here at the Castanet newsroom, and we’re sad to see her go.

My theory, which is shared amongst many others, says that she didn’t get enough support from older voters.

So, in a media conference call yesterday morning, I asked Elise what her own theory was as to why she wasn’t connecting with voters. “I think that the huge majority of voting comes from Middle America, so if I can't win them over, it's just not going to happen, you know? That's just a theory,” she said. “I really don't know. I felt like I was honest and sang with my heart, and passion, and that's the best I could do.”

Could it have been a younger voting demographic? I wondered. “I mean, that could be true. I feel like I still connect with them. Maybe that's wrong. As a teacher, I had a lot of younger students, and I felt probably closer to them than people my age, but I don't know if [the voters] saw that, given the little time they could see me on the air.”

As for the best piece of advice she received from either of the judges or Jimmy Iovine, Elise was quick with a response. “Being reminded of really capturing the essence of the song, and being in the moment of the song was great advice. That's something I know, but you always need to be reminded of that. I did king of let that slip away sometimes, thinking about pleasing people, thinking about being judged, trying to fit in some sort of line, when really I'm kind of a singer who sings outside the lines,” she said.

After speaking to her only briefly, it was apparent to me that this is a woman who knows where she’s going and knows how she’s going to get there.

Here are the highlights from the media conference call:

What made you decide to audition for Idol and why now?

I did audition one time when I was younger, and that didn't work out, but I always felt I wouldn't be ready for a responsibility of the fame until I was older and kind of learned those life lessons, you know, knew who I was more before throwing myself into the hands of others. I was very, very much inspired by the students that I teach at the school to be a role model for more people, seeing how I played a role in their lives.

What kind of album do you see yourself making?

Throughout Idol I definitely learned my forte is the rock genre, but I definitely will have the elements of blues, jazz and soul â€" and funk.

What's next for you after you come home from the tour?

After the tour and during the tour I will be writing songs and really kind of constructing a plan to get my album ready. I've been waiting my whole life to release an album. It's not going to be something I want to rush, so I'm going to take my time and experience it, and put it into those songs, and figure out who's going to be the guests on this album, and who I want to help produce it and all of that. That'll be my main focal point. I will also hope to perform as much as I can.

Who would you like to do some duets with?

I would love to do something with Stevie Nicks, since she mentioned it. I would love to have Brian May play guitar, as well as my guitarist, Wallace, from my band. And Steven Tyler would be a great duet.

What are you most excited about for the tour?

I'm really excited to see all the different landscapes and get on the road, and just travel and get some fresh air, and really just excited to sing and rock the sage. Whole songs, I keep saying that, but just singing the whole song and not just an edited version of the song. I shine best when it's real and I have time to get into it, and to see the fans, all the people that have been supporting us from the outside.

Jimmy said you made two bad song choices on Wednesday during the performance night, and the judges seemed to agree with the Jimi Hendrix song. What made you choose those songs? Are you offended, or did you agree what the judges said about the song choice?

Personally, I don't agree, because those were the best choices for me, and I believed in it. It's everyone's definition of what's right is different. I guess they think what's right is what's the majority of people going to take a liking to. I think what Steven was saying, he said he loved the song and was a fan of it, but maybe what he meant was that the melody wasn't one that people could sing along to at home. Probably the majority of people want to be able to sing along to a song. As an artist, I'm trying to convey the message of the song, and bring the lyrics to life, and I did that, so I feel successful.

How much do you think being out on tour with your band before the show helped you when it came to working on the arrangements and dealing with the band on the show?

A lot, I probably spoke up the most out of anyone, "oh no, there's a drumbeat here that' missing, or "I want the back-up singers to do this," especially with the first live performance I did the Adele song. I arranged that myself, and I added actual responses that the back-up singers sang. More so than playing with just my band, I arranged so many shows in Charleston, so I was familiar with the process, and that helped me a lot in putting the songs together most weeks on Idol.

Did you have much of an opportunity to write music?

No, not really. I just actually realized I wasn't doing that at all. I've been writing things in my head, but I don't know if I remember them now. I'm carrying around a journal now, so I'm going to get focused on that a little bit more.

Are you going to continue to be a vocal coach, and if so, what do you think Idol is going to do to change your students' view of you?

I think that they probably will look up to me a little bit more. I just formed such great bonds with the students I had in Charleston, and some I had been with for three years, and I just watched them blossom. The thing that I enjoyed most about that process was just having someone come in totally closed off in their shell and watching them come out of it. That was one thing the parents always tell me, "We don't care if they sing, they're just so much more confident now! They can't wait to see you! They're so happy when they come out!" I would like to continue doing that somehow, whether it be one on one me going to them, or even opening my own place. I'm not really sure, just throwing this out there. I definitely would like to continue doing that and make a difference in their lives.

Since you were older than most of the contestants, did they come to you for advice or treat you any differently than the younger contestants?

They definitely would come to me for advice, which I admired, I was really excited about that. I also went to them, so it was a two-way street. When we [did] group stuff, I felt like a natural leader in that sense, just because I have arranged shows before, so I know what needs to happen and what could make something sound really great, and what would be missing. Whenever they were unsure, I could always see their eyes shifting over to me, like looking at me "Is this right?" "What should I do?" Sometimes they didn't even have to ask. I'm sad about leaving for that.

What advice did you go to them for?

I'm not shy about anything I'm feeling, about speaking my mind. If I felt like something sounded like crap, I would just ask them. "Listen to this" or "what do you think," even just anything, even just life.

How did you feel with the pressure of continuing to be placed in the Bottom Three in recent weeks?

I never really thought about the results show. It always hit me a half hour before the show. All of a sudden, the make-up artists and hair people were like, "She's feeling it." I would always go to them like "oh no." I guess I don't really prepare myself too much, I just try to go with the flow and have fun and stay calm the whole day and think about it when I have to. It is a stressful time for everyone. I'm not only worried for myself, but I worry for everyone else. It's a lot of hard feelings, and I feel like I can handle that, but it's hard.

Were you surprised to be eliminated? Or did you somewhat see it coming beforehand?

I was a little bit surprised because in my heart I didn't feel like it was time to go, but it wasn't a total shock, because I've been in the Bottom Three that many times, it's kind of inevitable it was going to happen sometime. I guess I just felt sort of like a fighter and that I was going to push through.

A lot of viewers have suggested that the judges were hardest on you and Hollie [Cavanagh] so far throughout the season. Could you talk about that a little bit? Did the judges comments help you in the end or wear on your confidence overtime?

It didn't wear on my confidence. Some stuff I thought was really great, but some stuff I didn't agree with, I think that's what was frustrating about it. People are getting to know me, and this is their first impression of me, and I felt like sometimes the criticism didn't line up or was discrediting to the things I have achieved and worked hard to achieve. That was hard. I'm confident in myself and that's why I did speak up sometimes. I believe in certain things, and I don't want to just keep my mouth shut and smile. I was never trying to be rude or argumentative, just honesty.

Was there one contestant you were closest with throughout the competition?

I was definitely closest with Phillip [Phillips]. We have really nice talks and we're kind of on the same page.
Who do you think has the best shot of winning the competition now, if you had to pick?
I have no idea. I just hope whoever it is has the mindset that they're in it and they're going to be responsible with the title, and be a role model and inspiration, whoever that person is.

Is there anything you would have done differently during the competition, if you had the change to go back? Would you change anything?

I've been saying that I wouldn't, and I believe that, but just earlier today I was thinking I would've sang The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston, because then right off the bat, it would've been a better first impression for America, I guess that's the true answer. But, also maybe doing that [other] song helped me in some sort of weird way. Who knows? You don't really want to mess with what happened, because you never know how it would have affected you or changed you.

Was there any week in particular you felt was the hardest for you?

The second week, Whitney Houston week was probably the hardest. It was still sort of the first impression. I felt like I was misunderstood or taken the wrong way, and I didn't like that. Being misunderstood is probably the worst feeling that I ever have.

A lot of other competitors said the judges confused them a lot. Did you ever get that feeling from them?

Sometimes it would be contradicting from song to song. Also, that contradicting thing could be mistaken for us not finding the balance.

Are you planning on doing anything with your band after the tour?

I would love to have some of my band mates record on the album with me, and hopefully do a show again together, but I'm not sure exactly what is in store or what I'll be able to do, but I absolutely miss them to death, and I had some of the best shows ever with them.

On the tour can we expect you to team up with Phillip Phillips on a duet?

Hopefully! I still haven't seen that song list, but I'm definitely going to put a strong request for it.

Next week is British Week, what were you planning on doing?

I was planning on singing either a Jessie J song, Who You Are, or Joe Cocker, A Little Help from My Friends.
Throughout your Idol journey, what was the most valuable thing you think you took from the entire experience?
The most valuable thing is to always follow my gut, my heart, my intuition and just stay true to that.

What inspires you most in songwriting?

It's just this thing I have to quench. A feeling that I can't exactly touch, you just have to put out there into a melody. Sometimes the best songs come from moving my mouth, singing sounds and they turn into words because your subconscious just makes it happen.

Susan Boyle was left "terrified" after being chased up four flights of stairs by an over-zealous fan.

The 51-year-old singer was on the way back to her fourth-floor suite after performing in her musical 'I Dreamed a Dream' in Liverpool, when she spotted a group of fans by the lift and decided to take the stairs to avoid them - only to then be chased by a crazed male fan.

A source said: "Some fans waited for her in the lift but Susan spotted them and took the stairs. Her room was on the fourth floor so it was a fair walk.

"This man realised she was taking the stairs so he followed her. He made a dash for her door, saying he wanted her autograph, but she managed to get into the room safe and sound.

"It was really scary for her. To follow someone up the stairs for four floors is a bit creepy. She was terrified and shaken."

The 'Britain's Got Talent' star was still reeling from an incident earlier in the month when her former gardener allegedly went to her home and demanded money, forcing her to call police.

Talking to the Daily Mirror, the insider continued: "The attention she was getting from fans was a bit much, especially given what happened at her home recently.

"The last thing she needed was someone trying to get into her room.

"She loves performing but sometimes the reaction of fans is really intense.

"Her nerves were already frayed and she shouldn't have to worry about people hounding her at her hotel.

A spokesman declined to comment about the hotel scare.

Last night at Sapphire night club, five bands took the stage at Castanet’s first official Garage Band Contest live showdown. All five bands are local: Paperboy, Wild Son, Sour Lizard, Sterling and Scisscorkick. The bands played 3 songs each, and all had their own distinctive style and sound.

The judges' scores were very close, but Scissorkick came out on top and played a bonus set at the end of the night.

What impressed the judges was not only the diversity of musical styles, but the amount of pure talent these bands possess. Last night proved that the Okanagan is home to some remarkable musical talent.

Here at Castanet we want to do all we can to showcase homegrown talent wherever possible. Look forward to more contests coming up…

As for this contest, the third place band, Wild Son, will receive a first-class professional photo shoot from Clear Images Photography.

Second place finishers, Sterling, receives a gift certificate of $500 to spend on gear and equipment with the fantastic people at Wentworth Music.

Scissorkick will be booking time with Rhythm Lab Studio to receive the royal studio treatment, and will be recording a full-length CD.

And, one of the great things to come from this contest is the news that many of the bands that entered will end up with a paid gig at one of the many Festivals Kelowna/Parks Alive shows this summer.

Last night’s event was broadcast live in a spectacular user-controlled 360-degree format, provided by Immersive Media. Look for 360-degree footage of the show coming up in the next day or so, as well as a special video feature produced by our professional news team.

All proceeds from last night's show were donated to the Kelowna Food Bank today, and associate executive director Lenetta Parry was very pleased with the contribution.

We thank everyone who came out to last night’s event, and look forward to more events like these in the very near future.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are longtime friends â€" but are they friends with benefits?

Kunis tells Extra in a new interview from CinemaCon, "A friend is a friend."

And the actress shoots down rumors that the two are dating, saying, "It's absurd."

Still, one source close to Kutcher says the former That '70s Show costars â€" who just spent a cozy weekend together in Carpinteria, Calif. â€" are enjoying spending time together, but not ready for a serious relationship.

"They're both single, having fun," the source tells PEOPLE. "There's nothing serious going on â€" just friends having fun."

It should be noted that both Kutcher, 34, and Kunis, 28, have some onscreen experience with relationships that morph between friendship, romance and more. Kunis costarred in Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake, while Kutcher appeared with Natalie Portman in No Strings Attached about a pair who have a physical relationship that turns more serious.

Another source told PEOPLE that Kutcher, who recently split from Demi Moore, "was so in love with [Mila] for a while when they worked together. ... It never happened, but I'm not surprised by this â€" at all."

SAMCRO fans have got a bit of a wait until Season 5 of "Sons of Anarchy" comes back, but maybe this can tide us over until then.

Where "Sons" isn't exactly family-friendly, this Funny or Die trailer takes on the motorcycle gang angle from a 10-year-old's perspective and is suitable for all ages.

With an assist from "SOA" creator Kurt Sutter and his wife/star Katey Sagal, here is "Grandsons of Anarchy," a look at what the show might be like if instead of grown-up outlaw bikers running guns, it starred 10-year-olds on Big Wheels with squirt guns.

The clip also features "Parks and Recreation's" Jim O'Heir and "Reno 911's" Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant.

Sagal and Sutter show up at the end to spoil the kids' fun, and also provide the video's funniest line.

If you're a "Sons" fan, this is 160 seconds well-spent.

Leif Manson may not be one of the most standout Survivor characters this season, but he was successful in outlasting almost all the men. Only the two “Zans” remain: Troyzan and Tarzan, as the all-female alliance have been picking the men off in attempt to rid the game of all the male players.

The 27-year-old San Diego, California native probably didn’t get a fair shake in the game, but in a phone interview yesterday morning he doesn’t sound at all bitter about anything that took place on the island. As easygoing as Leif appears to be, he certainly had some choice words for those who had a hand in voting him out.

Leif was not at all shy about sharing his opinions about Kim, Chelsea, Kat, Colton and Tarzan. Some good stuff follows…

What was it like watching last week at home? Were you shocked Tarzan voted for you?

It definitely really hurt a lot. But at the same time, you can never get a really good read on that guy. He was always going left and right, up and down…

He was so unpredictable. Did you get a read he was going to vote for you?

It was definitely a complete shock. Him and I were having a good talk in the water, he was even washing my paint off my face… he and I were on the chopping block, I told him we need to get something going and vote a girl off somehow. There’s only so much that you can do when you’re giving it your 100% and it’s not panning out for you.

Chelsea called you wishy-washy. Was that an unfair assessment of your character?

That’s what the game is. I mean everybody has to be wishy-washy and go back and forth.  So for her to say that, I mean that’s the name of the game.

Was it hypocritical maybe?

Yeah, definitely. She was just… when she’s just riding along on coattails she can run her mouth how she wants to.

We really didn’t get to see too much of you out there. Can you tell us a story of something that went down you were involved in that wasn’t shown?

I know I had a real strong alliance with the guys in the beginning. Tarzan, Troy, Jonas, myself… we had Jay on board with us and I know as the game progressed more and when we got to where we swapped tribes, that was definitely a big changing point where we went from sticking with the guys to where a lot of the guys were making pacts with the girls. That’s what got us voted out. Nothing but girls.

Why do you think Alicia and Christina were so afraid to go against Kim? Is she really that convincing of a person?

She is one of the greatest liars I have ever seen. She will just straight-faced lie to ya and not even… you won’t even know it. That’s what makes her so very, very dangerous. A lot of the guys â€" it was too late for us to see that. There were a lot of gamechangers… Colton being evacuated, those guys voting Bill out instead of letting the girls go to tribal council.

That must have been a head-scratcher. How did that go down?

I mean, Colton at that point was in full control of what’s going on and part of me thought I wasn’t going home but another part had no idea really. It’s pretty hard to tell fact from fiction actually.

When you see what Colton said about you, did you take it personally? What was your relationship with him like?

I take it personally but I also take it with a grain of salt. He’s a very closed off person from the world. He’s never had a real job before, so he’s really ignorant to all that, which makes it understandable but at the same time he should be grateful for what he does have. It was a shocker to see what came out of this guy’s mouth. He offended every race, religion…

In your opinion, who was the weakest player out there?

Hmm… [thinks for a moment]

Is there someone who is 100% riding on coattails?

I think it would definitely be Kat. I so thought I would at least get past her, but I probably… I was just shocked to know that… I tried to form a plan with the guys to at least vote Kat out but Jay had an alliance with her, so that definitely wasn’t going to happen. It was a constant struggle.

Is there anyone in the tribe that you hope to keep in touch with after the reunion? Did you make any long-lasting friendships?

Definitely Jonas. He and I were family men, we were always the providers, providing food. I was his sous-chef on the side for making sure the fire was nice and hot for cooking.

Jennifer Hudson listened with her head down and eyes closed as a police officer testified Tuesday about finding her mother's body in a pool of blood in the living room.

As prosecutors introduced evidence about the murder scene, Hudson sat next to her fiancé in the Chicago courtroom while Sgt. David Dowling also described finding the bloodied body of Hudson's brother in bed.

Later, Hudson left the courtroom with her sister, Julia, avoiding the testimony of a forensic investigator who identified crime-scene photos that showed the bodies.

The grisly testimony came in the second day of the trial of Hudson's former brother-in-law, William Balfour, charged with fatally shooting her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King in 2008.

The Oscar-winning actress was the first witness on Monday, breaking down on the stand as she told the jury that the family had warned Julia against marrying Balfour because he treated her badly.

Sgt. Dowling testified that Hudson's mother was found in the South Side Chicago house with gunshot wounds to the back and that her brother had a gunshot wound to the head.

A search for the then-missing nephew ended three days later with the boy's body being found in an SUV, another witness testified.

Dwayne Johnson. Bruce Willis. How can you go wrong?

Here's the new trailer for  "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", where the city of London sees some major damage.

The city's destruction comes at the 2-minute mark in the trailer, which also prominently features Johnson as Roadblock and Willis as the founder of G.I. Joe, who put together what's left of the force after an attack leaves it in tatters.

The attack comes courtesy of Cobra, which has infiltrated the White House and, per usual, has world domination on its mind. Adrianne Palicki (Lady Jaye) and D.J. Cotrona (Flint) also have prominent roles in the trailer, as does lots of stuff blowing up real good.

This one, at least from the looks of the trailer, actually looks promising.

Then again, after the first G.I. Joe, pretty much anything would be an improvement.

The movie opens June 29th.

Scarlett Johansson has "body worries".

Despite her sex symbol status, the actress star has issues with her figure like all women do, but her all-action role in 'Avengers Assemble' as Black Widow got her into the best shape she's ever been in.

She said: "Every woman has body worries, and I'm not exempt from that. But part of the by-product of spending that much time in the gym is that you can fit into a catsuit."

Scarlett's spy character in the superhero movie is "very bendy and fierce" and the screen beauty had to work very closely with her stunt-double Heidi Moneymaker to get her fight scenes right.

In an interview with UK TV show 'Daybreak', she revealed: "The idea is that she (Moneymaker) and I become one and we can start and finish each other's moves and everything in between. And it's a lot of training and dedication and it hurts and it hurts and it hurts and then suddenly it doesn't hurt and you're getting it right and it's a great moment - you feel like you've accomplished something big."

Scarlett appears in the Marvel movie with an all-star cast that includes Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans (Captain America).

Justin Bieber has written a song for his new album about the woman who accused him of fathering her baby.

The 18-year-old singer has penned a track for his forthcoming record 'Believe' expressing his feelings about Mariah Yeater, a fan who claimed last year that he was the dad of her son, Tristyn, before she dropped a paternity case against him and confessed her ex-boyfriend was the child's real dad.

Justin -- who always vehemently denied her accusations -- said: "There's a song about that girl that said she was gonna have my baby, Mariah Yeater. There are songs about things I'm going through. I wrote songs about different situations."

The 'Boyfriend' hitmaker -- who is a Christian -- has described his new album as being a mix between Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and Jesus Christ.

He is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "It's like a mix between Fergie and Jesus."

Justin -- who has been dating singer-and-actress Selena Gomez for more than a year -- recently took to twitter to direct a tweet at Mariah, on which he attached a video clip of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat character constantly saying: "You will never get this."

He wrote: "Dear mariah yeeter ... we have never met ... so from the heart i just wanted to say... (sic)".

The 'Never Say Never' hitmaker had previously agreed to take a paternity test in an attempt to rubbish her claims and also insisted he had never met her.

In November 2011, he explained: "None of it is true. Never met the woman."

The Lake Country Art Gallery Presents a Fun Filled Art Event Not to Be Missed!

On Sunday April 29th, the Lake Country Art Gallery will be present a Mystery Art Exchange and Steak Dinner at the Aspen Grove Golf course in Lake Country.

The Mystery Art Exchange fundraiser for the Lake Country Art Gallery builds upon the success of the gallery’s Deck the Walls Art Auction held this past November, but with a twist. Rather than bidding on whichever piece of art catches your eye, all the works brought to the exchange will be wrapped up, only to be revealed when the art exchange begins. Much like the gift exchanges that you may have encountered at a staff party or at a family gathering, each guest brings one piece of original art to be added to the “art exchange pile”. Ticket numbers are drawn to see who’s turn it is to unwrap an original piece of art or 'steal' a piece that has already been revealed!

This will make for an exciting art filled evening, full of surprises, skullduggery, mischief and most of all, a ‘new to you’ piece of original art to take home with you.

Tickets for the Lake Country Art Gallery Mystery Art Exchange and Steak Dinner Fundraiser are available for $35 per person from the Lake Country Art Gallery.

The Mystery Art Exchange will be held on Saturday April 29th at the Aspen Grove Golf Course located at 10303 Bottom Wood Lake Rd, in Lake Country.

The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6:15, with the Mystery Art Exchange set to begin at 7pm.

Each ticket includes: Entry for one person, a full Steak dinner, plus the opportunity to exchange ONE piece of original art for a mysterious New ONE.

Book Now! Don’t miss this fun event that supports your local public art gallery.

Marc Anthony isn’t missing an opportunity to rub in soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Lopez’s face that he, too, has moved on. Last week, Anthony hosted a dinner at his and Lopez’s former haunt, The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar, in honor of his Maestro Cares foundation launch. Anthony brought his group of 12 including Chayanne and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Marco Antonio Solis to the same private wine cellar where JLo hosted her birthday dinner with friends and family after news of their split. On Tuesday night, Anthony launched his foundation at Shelborne South Beach with girlfriend and 24-year-old Venezuelan model Shannon de Lima by his side. Anthony, incidentally, refers to her dubiously as his "Statue of Peace." The couple remained close throughout the night and later in the evening, the group moved to the poolside VIP cabana with friends and colleagues. The couple also demonstrated some PDA Thursday at the 2012 Latin Billboard Music Awards where he was presented with the Hall of Fame award.

On Saturday, designer Michael Kors and actress Chloe Sevigny randomly popped in to Miami Beach’s Consign of the Times separately but almost simultaneously, browsing the store’s stylish selection of luxury consignment merchandise. Sevigny arrived first and was being helped by one of the store’s stylists when Kors walked in. She seemed surprised and yelled, “Oh, hey, Michael!” The two chatted for about 10 minutes and continued to browse. Sevigny left with several dresses and accessories.

Supermodel Selita Ebanks dined with Think Like a Man star Terrence J Friday night at Prime 112. On Sunday night, Mark Wahlberg and friends were there on the early side and later on, the Rev. Jesse Jackson with a party of 10.

New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries partied Saturday night at Mansion, checking out singer Nadia Ali’s performance, “kicking back cocktails and chatting up a bevy of ladies,” along with mixed martial arts stars Alistair Overeem and a recently defeated Rashad Evans, among others until 3 a.m.

On Thursday night, singer Don Omar aka El Rey attended Universal Music’s “Universal Affair” Billboard Latin Music Awards after-party presented by Hennessy V.S at Design District hot spot Gavanna and was in no mood for photos. Omar walked in at about 3 a.m., and when photographers tried to snap him entering the event, his burly security guards chased off several paparazzi.

Rapper French Montana reserved the private room at Philippe to view Sunday’s episode of Mob Wives on which he raps with cast member Drita D’Avanzo, wife of known mobster Lee.

Disco diva Gloria Gaynor was seen over the weekend around Turnberry Isle Miami, where she gave a performance for one of the resort’s visiting groups.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Some of Hollywood's hottest stars come from our neighbor in the South. In preparation of celebrating Mexican heritage and culture Saturday, Us Weekly has rounded up some of our favorite Mexican-American stars.

PHOTOS: Kardashian's Mexican getaway

Salma Hayek

The Teresa actress was born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexicao. Her mother is of Spanish descent and her father is of Lebanese ancestry. "I started out in Hollywood at the same time as Jennifer Lopez," Hayek, now 45, told Marie Claire in 2007. "Before us, Latinas only had roles that were part of the backdrop, or the maid or the prostitute. We changed that."

Eva Longoria

The Desperate Housewives star is the youngest of four girls born to Mexican-American Enrique Longoria, Jr. and Ella Eva Mireles. The 37-year-old actress released a cookbook in 2011 titled, Eva's Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends, that includes some of her favorite family recipes.

Demi Lovato

Lovato is of Mexican, Irish and Italian descent. While the 19-year-old "Skyscraper" singer embraces her Mexican heritage, she revealed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in September 2011 that she doesn't speak Spanish "at all!" The singer/actress does perform some of her songs in Spanish, but said she just memorizes them.

The "Who Says" singer's father is of Mexican ancestry and her mother is of part Italian descent. The 19-year-old girlfriend of Justin Bieber told Scholastic in 2008, "My family does have Quincenaras, and we go to the communion church. We do everything that's Catholic, but we don't really have anything traditional except go to the park and have barbeques on Sundays after church."

Mario Lopez

The Extra host and former Saved By The Bell actor was born to Mexican parents, Elvia and Mario Michael Lopez, Sr., and raised in a Catholic family. Lopez, 38, welcomed daughter Gia Francesca Lopez on Sept. 11, 2010 with his then girlfriend Courtney Laine Mazza. He proposed over New Year's weekend to the Broadway dancer while on vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico.

Jessica Alba

The Fantastic Four actress' father is Mexican American and her mother is of Danish and French Canadian descent. Alba, 31, married Cash Warren on May 19, 2008 and now have two daughters together, Honor, 3, and Haven, 8 months. Are Jackie and Kelso together or aren't they?

MILA Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are not dating.

A rep for Kunis announcing last week that the two are just friends, but the rumours still persist. "They've been friends for years and they had dinner with a bunch of friends," the rep told Celebuzz after X17 found Kunis and Kutcher having supper together.

The "just friends" angle is harder to take now that People magazine has discovered Kunis and Kutcher together again.

People reports that Kunis and Kutcher left L.A. together Thursday and drove to a coastal town just south of Santa Barbara where they spent the weekend going for (another) sushi dinner, shopping, and, as per People, spending "plenty of time in private."

It seems they stayed together until Sunday, as the magazine's witnesses last saw the would-be couple early that day on a coffee run. But according to People, Kutcher was back in L.A. later that day and was spotted courtside at a Lakers game.

Where does she find the time?

MARIAH Carey is on the cover of Shape mag, looking pretty lean -- assuming there's no Photoshop involved -- for somebody who had twins just a year ago. She's shilling for the Jenny Craig diet plan, and carefully mentions her diet, but also explains her fitness habits: "Today my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned -- either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises." While somebody from the household staff takes care of the kids, of course.

Critics Hungry for a story?

IS Jennifer Lawrence too chubby to be believable as Katniss Everdeen?

Some fans of The Hunger Games think so, and so do several big-media movie critics. The Hollywood Reporter, for example, complained about Lawrence's "lingering baby fat."

This controversy is growing, among people who care about these things.

In a big Chicago Sun-Times story headed "The 'fatness' of Katniss?" somebody quotes the actress calling the issue "hilarious. First, people say how so many actresses in Hollywood look anorexic, and now they are criticizing me for looking normal."

Perhaps they oughta get a room

JENNIFER Lopez has a long, unseemly history of making her boyfriends appear in her music videos (yes, even Ben Affleck, back in the day, in Jenny from the Block). Now her current boytoy, Casper Smart, has removed his shirt for her newest video, Dance Again.

She's all over him in the still photos. In some, he wears a blindfold, in some, she does. You may wish you had one.

She's 42. He just turned 25.

Why, Madge... you're soaking in it!

BEAUTY secrets of the stars: Madonna is a big fan, the Telegraph newspaper says, of something called Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Daily Serum.

This stuff (a brisk $149 for just 30 ml) supposedly irons out wrinkles like Botox, but without injections.

She's 53.

His apology? It's in the bag!

REMEMBER when Karl Lagerfeld called Adele "a little too fat"? Caused a big fuss?

Well, now, says Internet gossip Janet Charlton, he has tried to make it up to the singer with merch: He sent her "an enormous gift: all the best handbags from his new Chanel collection -- hard to get, and worth thousands of dollars each!"

Doesn't look like she's Transforming... yet

MEGAN Fox herself hasn't commented on the pregnancy rumours that first surfaced in Star Magazine late last month, and recent photos of the Transformers actress haven't done much to support any claims.

Still, E! News now reports the 25-year-old is expecting. She and her 38-year-old husband, Brian Austin Green, married in June 2010, and if E! is correct, the baby will be their first child together. (Green has a 10-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship.)

As previously mentioned, Fox and Green haven't released an official announcement -- nor have they commented on the reports -- but since Fox was recently on the promo trail for a movie about people with babies (Friends with Kids), she's given plenty of interviews that involve her opinions on procreation, etc.

For example: In an interview with Cosmopolitan for their April issue, Fox revealed she's always wanted a family. "I want at least two, probably three (kids)," she said. "I've always been maternal."

Mulligan, Mumford tie knot in English barn

IT'S official: Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford are now wife and husband.

The pair reportedly got hitched this past weekend in a barn in Somerset, England. According to reports, they tied the knot in front of about 150 guests, which included famous faces such as Sienna Miller, Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal and Oscar-winner Colin Firth.

The young couple said "I do" in front of Marcus's father John, who is a vicar and conducted the ceremony, reports the Daily Mail.

Sources told the paper that, inside the private event, Mulligan wore a backless, ivory dress with V-straps that was thought to be a Versace creation. Her eight bridesmaids wore knee-length prom dresses with matching turquoise pumps.

Did it really happen if there are no photos?

ATTENDING a shmoozy industry event together is sort of the celebrity equivalent of going steady -- like getting pinned or buying a promise ring, with the addition of free booze and swag bags. People magazine reports that Jason Segel and Michelle Williams made their first public appearance together last week, attending the New York premiere -- and Wednesday-night after-party -- for Segel's latest movie The Five-Year Engagement. It seems the rumoured couple's relationship status has gone from officially adorable to officially official.

So, where's the photographic evidence to swoon over? People reports that Segel and Williams were cosy all Wednesday night, making kissy faces and cuddling and whispering sweet and potentially witty nothings to one another all evening. But the New York Post's Page Six reports the two stars forbade photographers from capturing any cute action. As per the outlet, which was also at the after-party, reps for Williams, Segel and the film "issued an edict" that the stars must not be photographed together.

Jennifer Lopez & Casper Smart: Lunch Break Lovebirds - The Gossip Girls

Posted Sunday April 29, 2012 1:09 PM GMT

Looking very comfortable together, Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend, Casper Smart, grabbed a quick bite to eat in Hollywood, California on Saturday afternoon (April 28).

Dressed in an all-black ensemble with a pair of Velcro kicks the Latina singer spent four hours in dance rehearsals before taking a break to get lunch at Aroma Café with her 25-year-old dancer beau, who showed off his tattoos in a striped blue muscle shirt.

In career news, the happy couple is apparently rehearsing to perform next week the 42-year-old’s “Dance Again” on J Lo's show “American Idol".

Things got hot and heavy in the music video and are sure to be steamy on the “Idol” stage, especially since Smart is head over heels for Miss Lopez, recently tweeting, “Who agrrees that my woman is still the most beautiful alive?”

Enjoy the pictures of Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart grabbing lunch together at Aroma Cafe in Hollywood, CA (April 28).
